Okay, so the SMGO talks to try and crowdfund GLTAS and YJ did not go through because WB thought we would not be able to raise the money.

HOWEVER

SMGO decided to start a pledge pool for YJ in hopes that we could potentially raise enough pledges to show WB that this route is feasible. So if you would like to help out, please head on over here: [link] No money will be taken from your PayPal account unless WB agrees to accept the money once we reach the goal, and if we either don't reach the goal or WB says no again, you will not have to hand over a single cent. This was confirmed by PayPal. It need to be clarified, though, that this pledge would ONLY be for YJ, not GLTAS. They decided to start with the least expensive show first (GLTAS costs $20mil to produce). Once WB accepts the pledges for YJ, they'll go back and help GLTAS.

ALSO....I am offering a little reward for people who are willing to pledge even if they aren't in the GLTAS or YJ fandoms.

~If you pledge $20 or more, I will make you a drawing of whatever you want. Any fandom, any characters.

If you cannot pledge but would still like to help, PLEASE spread the link around to other sites. And if you run, or know someone who runs, a popular online news source, we would be so grateful if any kind of article could be written up on this effort. Right now, we only have 344 supporters with a total of $29,785 in pledges and we need a LOT more than that. (people are reluctant because "it's going behind WB's backs"...but honestly, this may be the only way to get them to change their minds) Basically, if we get 500,000 people to pledge $20, we can do this.
